First of all, it is the day of the Olympics launch at 8.08pm ... the only day where one can actually get a seat on the MTR at 8 pm towards Lan Kwai Fong.
Then, it was also my colleague's birthday .. .and she sported a new hairstyle, which was nice but a tat light in some's opinion.
It was the day of a bomb scare in Causeway Bay, which was overshadowed by another headline - man's penis caught between the gaps of the sit-up bench.. As his penis was under pressure, it couldn't be released from the gap even when a doctor was sent to the scene to try relieve some pressure. The final resort was to unscrew the entire bench and evacuated the man with bench to the hospital. (One smart aleck suggested that a sexy girl might do the trick .. release some tension ... I thought that might increase the tension?)
And it was the day OCBC organised free flow at Fong Underground from 6 - 9 pm which I arrived fashionably late and with a dreadful flu. So It was hard to enjoy the drink, the Pho noodles and the Mummy.
And finally, 08082008 is the day before 09082008, which is my nation's 43rd birthday and my new boss' birthday.
