Rendevous in HK & Macau (5 to 10th Sep)
Thankfully the food here is good as it marked our last day and last meal in Macau. In fact, it was so good till I even dared to eat the La La which I dun even normally eat in Singapore.
Also, we had to walk ard 20 min around Wynn and through all the construction to find this restaurant ...so it was good that the food made it all worth it. I'm definitely going back there again. My next goal would be to conquer Venetian hotel.

As Macua is known for Portugese food, we risked our lives in a 20min cab ride to get to Coloane area (Macau's countryside) to find this Fernando restaurant. Waited for half an hour and I think food was so-so only...sigh.

New dress bought in HK to be flaunted immediately in Macau

All the restaurants were closed so this Sichuan restaurant was the closest seafood we can find at the Fisherman's wharf!)

Babylon theme casino where I made a killing and
drank many teas and ate some rice (all FOC)

Toilet break...
Alfresco cafes and restaurants with no man in sight

The Roman theme of course

The hardly inspiring Fisherman's Wharf with themes from various countries from Aladdin's Cave to Tang Dynasty.

Grand Lisboa (the new extension of Hotel Lisboa I think)

We are right next to Wynn and Grand Lisboa
Hotel Lisboa in full glory

Shower has special feature from foot massage to sprays attacking one from above (the head shower); the sides (the waist and calves area), radio in the showers to controlling the temperature of steam in the shower. Alas, the instructions for turning on the water was so not clear, it took me half an hour to figure how to do it the first time. So much for technology.

Wild Wild West (31 Aug)

Yes, the 2nd D&D where the crowd went amok in all movie themes, from Wild Wild West to Bollywood to Shanghai Tang.
But for the few of us in my team, the most fun was the making up in one of the rooms in hotel 81 (yes, bencoolen one somemore!) as we just wanted somewhere to do makeup without spending a bomb.
Super basic room that did not even come with towels and towels did not come even after we agreed to paying $5 for the towels and making 2 requests. And I would have towels are basic hygience requirements. Anw, I think we shocked a few patrons in our outfits anw. They must have thought the modern pp are into role play or something.
D&D was okie but I think the best part was therafter where Karen and I went clubbing. Her red indian feather in hair did get a few queries from onlookers as we went to Zouk and subsequently St James where we bumped into Ruihan.
On our way back from St James to our Hotel, we were just talking abt things like one gotta accept and face up to the past before they can truly move on. And like all taxi uncles, this one was also listening in to our conversation and when the time came for paying up and we were short of 30cents, he waived it saying that he had also gained insights from what we were talking abt. I was quite happy that he had also benefited from our conversation cox sometimes one can miss the most obvious for his own life if not for moments like this.
Anyway, after a fun filled night of clubbing, the best part was retiring to the room and buying a packet of sinful chicken wings from coffee shop downstairs and eating it on the floor as we tak nonsense till 5am.
Being every energetic and not wanting to waste a moment of Sat, Kar woke up and 9am and we both checked out of the hotel, badly in need of some ice teh tarik. So we walked on and on till we reached somewhere near middle road before we located some authentic looking Indian stall.
Anyway, we split and I went home to grab some solid winks as I got a whole night ahead ... i.e. I was going to huiyi's place for wedding briefing and thereafter to Hen's night at Gotham Penthouse.
