Mum & Sis brings rain and floods to HK ?

Sat was an eventful one as it marked the largest flood in 100 yrs for HK but we only knew the next day after we spent a non eventful night at Shenzhen. There was a Black Storm warning in the morning at 6am plus on Sat morn. A major pity. And hence, we witnessed a waterfall at the Wanchai MTR, correction, inside the MTR station and major floods on the roads on our way to the Dim Sum restaurant. In fact, there was a taxi half submerged and waters threatening to enter the shopfronts.

So we returned on Sunday so that we could feed the famished cats. Such is the liability and joy of having pets for you no longer have the liberty and will to change your plans as and when you wish.

Monday is Duan Wu Jie ... hence we spent the day in Mongkok area... roaming to cheap bargains, not far from Shenzhen prices but less the endless bargaining.

Mama wanna go wet market.
